What to expect at your first visit
Here’s what you can expect at your first appointment.

We’ll interview you to get a sense of your oral health history and any concerns you may have.

We’ll conduct a dental exam.

We’ll gather the relevant health records and test results needed for us to thoroughly assess your oral health.

We’ll go over your case with you, discuss options for treatment, make recommendations tailored to your specific needs, and answer any questions you may have.

If you require emergency treatment, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to treat you on the same day as the initial consultation.
What to bring on your first visit
To ensure that you get the most out of your first visit to Affinity Dental Sherwood Park, we ask that you bring the following information/ materials:

List of medications you are currently taking

Current radiographs (X-rays): Make sure you contact your former dentist to ask if they can forward your most recent radiographs to us prior to your appointment. This will reduce the number of X-rays you need to have taken at our clinic.

Medical or dental insurance information (if applicable), such as plan and ID numbers. Our clinic is able to send most claims electronically, which means patients generally will not need to bring in paper insurance forms.
Please note that patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at their first visit.
