Your dental plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer. You can expect the carrier (insurance company) to reimburse you for some portion of dental fees for certain common procedures. That portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company. The higher the premium paid by your company, the more generous the reimbursement. Every plan is different, and they will change from time to time.
Although Affinity Dental Sherwood Park is not a party to the contractual arrangement with your insurance company, we do want to help you receive the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. Our clinic uses a paperless electronic claims submission service to help you get reimbursed as quickly as possible, often in four to five days. Our staff will submit your insurance claim and reasonable supporting documents as a courtesy to you.
If you require extensive treatment, you have the option of submitting a pre-determination of dental benefits to your carrier to help determine how much reimbursement you may expect. This is not mandatory, but it is an option, and our staff will assist you with this.
You can be confident that the team at Affinity Dental Sherwood Park will always offer you the best possible care, without regard to any limitations imposed by your insurance coverage.
